I was born and raised an army brat in NC where I pursued several dreams. Following graduation I wrote a book and had a literary agent for a short time, I helped to form, open, and run a small community theatre (The Stage Door Theatre), and even heavily considered entering into religious life. Then I left Fayetteville for the Washington DC metro area where I lived and worked for three years doing my dream job - working as a full time youth minister for a Catholic church.
I am now living in North Carolina where I am still doing my dream job, just closer to family.
Right now I would classify myself a workaholic, but not by choice. I love my job, but I like my down time, too. Despite the extroverted demands in my life, I prefer to be an introvert so most of my hobbies are individual task type things. My babies are two pearl cockatiels by the name of Cagney and Scooter, and my mix breed puppy, Tipitiwitchit Puddle Esquire III. I would love to have another dog... maybe when I hit the lottery and can afford a house. That would be nice.
